Forest School Marks World Bee Day

18 May

It was World Bee Day on Saturday 20 May, so this week in Forest School Class 1S were making mini bees using alder cones, pine cones or teasel flower heads.

In the sunshine, we talked about the importance of bees and their role in pollination, made up our own bee waggle dance to communicate with our friends and the children then flew their bees around Jubilee Wood to pollinate all the flowers. What a busy buzzy time they all had!
