    Princethorpe College

    Required from September 2024, to teach Psychology and Sociology up to and including A-Level, in a lively, successful and flourishing department. An enthusiasm to become involved with the extra-curricular life of the school is essential. Candidates should be able to demonstrate success in the classroom and be effective team players. It is envisaged that this post will involve teaching Years 7 to Upper Sixth with a focus on Year 10 and above, across the full ability range.

    Candidates without experience of teaching Sociology will be considered.

    This is a permanent full-time role based at Princethorpe College.

    The Princethorpe Foundation salary scale is associated with but some way above national scales.

Opportunities at Princethorpe College

From time to time we look to recruit additional teaching and support staff in the following areas:

  • Exam Invigilators – to assist in the smooth running of internal and public examinations
  • SEND support staff – for in-class, small group and one-to-one work with pupils
  • Cover Teaching Staff – being part of a team available for short-term and long-term supply work
  • Games Coaching – to assist with our wide-ranging sports programme
