Trustees

The Foundation is very fortunate to have a dedicated Board of Trustees, with a wealth of knowledge and experience across a variety of sectors including education, business, and law.

They give very generously of their time and are focused on acting in the very best interests of the Foundation.

From time to time we look to recruit new members to the Board of Trustees, if you would be interested in finding out more about this please email foundationoffice@princethorpe.co.uk for an informal discussion.

    Bernadette Bell

    [ITEM_ROLE]

    Qualifications:

LLB (Hons) Business Law, DBA, MCIPD, PG Cert in OD

    Profile:

Raised in Coventry, I attended St Joseph’s Convent School (now Crackley Hall) for my secondary education which I followed with a Law Degree, studying at Coventry University.  My further qualifications have been achieved via distance learning studies, with Robert Gordon University and the University of Sussex.

Having worked in the airline industry holding Operational and Commercial roles for almost 10 years, I changed career and moved into Human Resources, initially working in the Railway industry followed by the last 10 years in Automotive, where I currently work as HR Director, for Product Engineering at JLR. My career has quite literally been in trains, planes and automobiles!

I am married with two children. My son attends Princethorpe College, and my daughter is about to start her degree at Nottingham University, after completing her secondary education at the College.  My two brothers also attended Princethorpe, and my husband and I were married in the Chapel, so our connections with the Foundation are long and cherished.

It is a privilege to be asked to be a Princethorpe Foundation Trustee and I look forward to supporting the teachers, pupils and their parents as the Foundation continues to go from strength to strength.
