Training To Become A Teacher at Princethorpe

As well as employing experienced teachers, the College is interested in recruiting good graduates who have a desire to enter the teaching profession. Opportunities are available in various subjects for the right candidate, whether straight out of university or looking for a career change.

Though our association with the Lion Alliance, we offer a year’s training as part of the School Direct scheme, leading to QTS (Qualified Teacher Status). Placements would be at Princethorpe and also other schools within the Lion Alliance. Our training is supported by Warwick University and by our experienced mentors within the college. Successful applicants are able to apply for bursaries and scholarships for certain subjects.

    Princethorpe College

    We are seeking a candidate on a term time only part time basis. The Foundation Data Assistant will support the Foundation Data Manager to administer and develop data systems, processes and visualisations across the Princethorpe Foundation.

    They will support the Foundation Data Manager in administering the Foundation’s core MIS and other data sources as well as supporting with the development, documentation and maintenance of data dashboards and visualisations.

    The postholder will also be expected to assist in areas such as timetable and teaching set management, options processes, pupil reports and assessment data relating to internal assessments and public exams.

    The closing date for applications is Monday 19 May at 9.00am and interviews will likely be held later that week or early in the week after the half term break, at Princethorpe College.
